Our family-owned bridal boutique first opened its doors in the heart of Coral Gables 50 years ago. Initially launched as Frances Novias in 1969, we soon acquired Chic Parisien, which had been established in a nearby locale for several years. What began as a labor of love for its original founders, Frances and Emilio Fox, soon flourished into a thriving business on Miracle Mile. In fact, Chic Parisien played a large part in making Miracle Mile what it is today, an area synonymous with bridal fashion and accessories, often referred to as “The Street for Brides” or “Bridal Row.”

Within a few short years, several other boutiques began to appear, but there was always something pointedly different about Chic Parisien. Its customers seemed to agree, as they would travel from all over the globe to visit the boutique and consult with its renowned team. It soon became evident that this local business, which initially served the South Florida region, had become an international powerhouse known for its forward-thinking approach to bridal fashion. In 2007, after having eclipsed the traditional bridal boutique category, Chic Parisien moved locations, and now grandly sits on Ponce de Leon Boulevard, not too far from its original home.
Today, Chic Parisien, helmed by Catherine Fox Milian, the daughter of the founders, boasts one of the finest and largest collections of designer wedding gowns in the country. Under Catherine’s guidance, the boutique has reached new heights with a reputation that extends into Europe, Central and South America, as well as much of the United States. Her close relationship with major design houses in New York, Miami, Paris, Milan, Madrid and Israel allows her to bring clients the newest and most desired gowns and accessories on the market.
With such a rich history, it’s no wonder that Chic Parisien has become a rite of passage for blushing brides-to-be. Our team is honored to have played an integral part of memorable wedding days for thousands of beautiful brides and looks forward to another four decades of making bridal dreams come true.
